Now most print and associated businesses have the opportunity to move some or all of their customers to online ordering solutions. This enables the customers to self-service when they want to place an order while also streamlining the process for the business receiving the order.

There are two types of web2print software, B2B and B2C. B2B (business to consumer) is when a print or associated business provides an online ordering system to their regular business customers. B2C (business to consumer) is when the print business provides a public website where anyone can order online. Both types of web2Print are proving to be popular and both are provided by the Hexicom HexiStore module.

The B2B model is where the business provides a system for their regular customers to order online and in doing so locks them into using them for all their requirements while also streamlining the workflow for their own staff.
The B2C model enables the print business to target new customers through their online website and to gain orders that would otherwise have been placed with another online provider.
